Nicolae Duşu, Celco: Together with TTS I hope to revamp Socep

The main shareholder of Socep Constanţa harbour operator says hewill work with TTS group, after the two investors fought on theBucharest Stock Exchange to seize control over the company.


Businessman Nicolae Duşu, who, together with Ion Duşu controlsACC producer Celco Constanţa, including 43% in Socep Constanţastock, says Transport Trade Services (TTS) group, held by MirceaMihăilescu, becoming a shareholder of the harbour operator willbenefit the company.
Socep, controlling 5% of freight traffic in Constanţa Harbour, hasbeen the target of one of the roughest battles on the StockExchange in recent months, doubling its price on this market sincethe beginning of the year.
"From the talks I've so far had with TTS representatives, I believetheir becoming a Socep shareholder is a gain for the company. Theyhave new ideas they want to put into practice and I believe thattogether we will be able to do more and revamp Socep," Nicolae Duşusays.
