The decision of the Bucharest Court of Law to open insolvencyproceedings for Blue Air airline, challenged by the air operator asearly as Friday, has already cost the company customers, say BlueAir officials, who claim this is an attack on the company'simage.
The Bucharest Court of Law published on Friday afternoon on itswebsite the decision to open insolvency proceedings againstlow-cost airline Blue Air, controlled by Nelu Iordache, followingthe petition filed as early as in March by air operator Carpatairand by Service Excellence Solutions, over debts of 30,000 euros and48,000 euros respectively.
Blue Air officials promptly challenged the decision and said debtsto Carpatair and to Service Excellence Solutions had been paid, which does not explain the decision of the Court of Law. Carpatairrepresentatives confirmed the payment of the debt as early as inMarch.
