Unirea Shopping Center signs with Bershka and New Yorker

Spanish-held Inditex has struck a deal with the Adamescu familyfor a two-floor Bershka store set to open in late summer in UnireaShopping Center.
The Spanish group will be followed by German retailer New Yorker,which is expected with a new store on the ground floor of Unirea inSeptember.

An initial investment of over 3 million euros and revamping aquarter of the Unirea facade.
In one year alone, the Adamescu family, owner of Unirea ShoppingCenter, significantly altered the image of the shopping centrelocated at the heart of Bucharest, by attracting Zara, Mango, andDouglas as tenants - internationally established brands preferredby Romanians, which up until then had their sights set only the newmall openings. This strategy has continued, with the latestpartnerships being signed with Bershka and New Yorker. "The newentries will result in an even larger number of visitors, we willconsolidate our position as leader of the shopping centre market,"Carmen Adamescu, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of UnireaShopping Center, told ZF.
