Summa Romania, the local branch of the Turkish-based construction company, estimates an 80 million-euro turnover next year, up 60% against this year, amid a rise in the number of contracts sealed outside Bucharest, and an increase in its number of projects. "For 2007, we forecast a similar turnover to the one derived in 2006, because we wanted our evolution to remain stable. For 2008, we forecast an approximately 80 million-euro turnover, as we are in various stages of negotiation for several projects and our group intends to boost its investment potential," Kenan Kaya, general manager of Summa Romania, told ZF. The company has been involved in building three real estate projects in Bucharest this year - the residential complex Emerald Residences (with Brooklyn Investment as a developer), the residential and commercial project Monaco Towers (with Marble House as a developer), the luxury residential project Werland Greenfield, the office building Conect Business Park and the Topaz and Onix complexes, within the larger residential complex Greenfield (with Impact as a developer).
