The exports of Sandero, the newest model in the Dacia range reached approximately 8,900 units in June, and accounted for 49% of the deliveries abroad of Automobile Dacia. At the same time, the exports of the Logan sedan model in June fell to half of what they stood at in May, which is about 2,600 units, whilst those of the Logan MCV fell by 24% to almost and reached 6,800 units. "This a logical consequence of the launch of a new model and we have to see if Sandero exceeds forecasts. I am pleased with how it was received and I think we will sell better abroad than in Romania. We now have demand for 6,000 Sanderos," Constantin Stroe, vice-president of Automobile Dacia stated. The start of manufacturing of the Sandero model also changed the structure of Automobile Dacia's output, so that the making of more than 10,500 units in June cut the production of the Logan sedan by 50% and of the MCV by 30%.
