Analysts at Raiffeisen Capital & Investment (RCI), one of the biggest brokers on the domestic market, estimate sales of Albalact Alba-Iulia (ALBZ) will advance by 50% this year, to 151.8m RON (around 46 million euros), according to an evaluation report released at the end of last week. RCI expects the dairy producer's operating income to reach 14.6 million RON (4.4 million euros) in 2007. Albalact sales in the first six months of this year jumped by 74.3% against the same period in 2006 and reached 73.8 million RON (22.3m euros). EBIT in the same period increased more than five times, to 8 million RON (2.4m euros). RCI analysts believe Albalact will further witness high growth rates over the coming years, and expects the company's sales to increase by 40% during the 2008-2009 period amid the rising demand of dairy products on the domestic market and the shrinking size of the unprocessed milk market. The turnover is expected to reach 300m RON.
