Dan Ostahie, the chairman of Altex group, the largest home appliances and IT products retailer on the domestic market is preparing to expand the operations of his group to Ukraine by opening Media Galaxy braded stores, with the first of them to be located in Odessa. The initial investment to develop the network on the Ukrainian market amounts to 10 million euros. "I am not a betting man usually, but 10 million euros is my stake for the market in Ukraine. We will continue to search for a financial partner that has a local presence to get 30% of the new company established," Ostahie told ZF. He did not care to say whether he had already found a partner or not and how many Media Galaxy stores would be part of the network in Ukraine and revealed that a concrete business plan would be completed this autumn.
