22.12.2005, 19:04 13

After the former chief executive of Microsoft Romania, Silviu Hotaran, took over the management of world''s largest software company for the entire SE Europe region, two more managers of the Romanian branch have moved up the corporate ladder. One of the four founders of Microsoft Romania, Paul Miches, will leave for London on January 1, taking over the position of Readiness Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This means he will be in charge of Microsoft''s sales people in these regions. Miches was Microsoft Romania''s manager for SME clients and partners, where he had worked since the establishment of this branch in 1996. The second manager leaving Romania is Dorin Badea, who will move to Glasgow as of January 1, in order to become Microsoft Services Lead for the Scottish branch. He has been with Microsoft Romania for five years, as head of the Services and Platform Group departments. ZF
