19.04.2006, 00:00 10

The Dutch investment fund MEI Roemenie en Bulgarije Fonds (MEI-RBF) will allocate some 22 million euros, i.e. some 75% of the funds collected raised through public subscription on the Euronext for acquisitions on the Romanian capital market. At the end of the subscription period for March, the company had accumulated 26.4 million euros, and in the following week gathered another 2.8 million euros, reaching 29.2 million euros. "It is an open-end fund, and the pace of growth of fund units will reflect the interest of investors for Romanian and Bulgarian markets," stated the investments manager of the fund for Romania, Cristian Fader. The remaining 25% of the sum will be directed to the Bulgarian capital market. The amount of investments on each capital market was set depending on the market capitalisation and on the liquidity of the investments. ZF
