Four-star hotel Iaki in Mamaia, held by former footballerGheorghe Hagi, collected 1.7 million RON (400,000 euros) inrevenues in June, up 30.7% in RON against June last year.
"This June's turnover exceeded that recorded in June of 2009. Itwas an improvement because we focused on the marketing mix andrelied more on the various market niches," said Anca Nedea, generalmanager of four-star Iaki hotel.
Nedea, 32, took over management of the Mamaia hotel in Februarythis year. From 2007 until the end of 2009 she was general managerof Europa and Astoria hotels in Eforie Nord, held by businessmanGeorge Copos.
