Four-star hotel Iaki in Mamaia, held by former footballer Gheorghe Hagi, collected 1.7 million RON (400,000 euros) in revenues in June, up 30.7% in RON against June last year.
"This June's turnover exceeded that recorded in June of 2009. It was an improvement because we focused on the marketing mix and relied more on the various market niches," said Anca Nedea, general manager of four-star Iaki hotel.
Nedea, 32, took over management of the Mamaia hotel in February this year. From 2007 until the end of 2009 she was general manager of Europa and Astoria hotels in Eforie Nord, held by businessman George Copos.
