Gameloft, a publisher and developer of console and mobile phonegames, is hiring 250 people for the Bucharest and Cluj centres onpositions such as testers, programmers, but also technicians andartists.
"We started recruiting in March. We are also seeking people withexperience in 3D production," Paul Friciu, general manager ofGameloft Romania, told ZF.
He added the company mainly seeks automation and electronicsfaculty graduates, but also mathematics or arts graduates. Thelatter are recruited for the design part of games.
According to Friciu, 50 people have been hired so far andanother 200 are sought in Bucharest. The company, which made227,112-euro gross income in Romania last year, amid 6.37m-euroturnover, is in full expansion in Romania.
In August, Gameloft opened a new office in Cluj, now employing14 persons. According to Friciu, the company wants to hire another50 people in this city.
"For the time being, we do not plan to open another office inthe country. For Romania, it's all right as it is for now, with twooffices," Friciu stated.
As for salaries, these can range between 250 euros and 2,000euros depending on position and experience.
