Estima eyes 70-80m euros in contracts

24.03.2005, 00:00 6

Estima Finance, the number-two player on the consumer finance market, plans to bring in more than 70 million euros in contracts in 2005, its first full year in business. Most of these contracts will come through the electronics and home appliances retail chain Domo, but their lending systems will also be expanded to retailers in other sectors. "We estimate contacts of 70-80 million euros for this year depending on how the market develops," Mihnea Mocanu, Estima Finance's general manager, told Ziarul Financiar. Estima Finance was launched in the second half of last year by the Romanian-American Enterprise Fund (RAEF) and Domo Retail, the company that operates the electronics and home appliances chain Domo. Estima Finance has taken over the lending business in Domo stores, which will account for most of the contracts this year. ZF
