Bragadiru Palace (Palatul Bragadiru), an important historical building in Bucharest, will become part of a real estate complex whose value is expected to range from 130 and 150 million euros, which will include a hotel, offices and shops. "We have secured all the necessary approvals to develop a project which includes shopping galleries, offices, as well as a hotel. Currently, we are holding talks with the developers, and will most likely make a decision in June," said John Vartolomei, managing partner with Construct Finance Consult, which manages Palatul Bragadiru. "Construct Finance Consulting devised the real estate project around the Palace," added Vartolomei, who did not provide further details on the project. The overall area covered by Palatul Bragadiru, located on Calea Rahovei (SW Bucharest) stands at 16,000 square metres, with just one room being currently operational, Colosseum Ballroom, which offers 10,000 square metres of floor space and hosts events.
