Furniture and interior decorations retailer KIKA will hire 200 to 300 people before the opening of its first store on the domestic market. At present, KIKA only has three employees in Romania. "Currently, KIKA is taking its first steps towards becoming familiar with the Romanian market and we are interested in entering this market next year. Our company has been examining the Romanian market for several years now, but our strategy, as is the case with many other companies, has been to wait for the market to mature and for the economic and political climate to stabilise, which were guaranteed, among other things, by Romania joining the EU," said Alexandru Creanga, country manager of KIKA Romania.
