More than half of old three-room apartments of Bucharest haveprices ranging between 50,000 and 70,000 euros at the beginning of2011, 10-20% lower than at the start of last year, when in mostareas owners started "talks" from a level of at least 70,000 euros, according to anuntul.ro website data.

ZF in early 2010 put on the map of Bucharest ten ads withapartments for sale in the biggest districts, such as Berceni,Militari, Colentina and Titan, and in early 2011 sought propertieswith similar characteristics to see the trend of prices and the newbenchmarks from which owners start sale negotiations.
Steeper declines, of over 20%, were registered in areas such asRahova, Militari Colentina and Doamna Ghica, while smaller pricecuts were operated in areas such as Camil Ressu or Dristor.

In other words, except for the central areas and the north area,three-room apartments can be found almost across Bucharest atprices of between 50,000 and 70,000 euros, which can be financedthrough the First Home scheme.
Under the circumstances, three-room apartments are likely to becomemore attractive, as the price and monthly instalment gap against atwo-room apartment has narrowed down.
