Anchor Grup, the developer of Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania in Bucharest, has managed to attract numerous Romanian retailers to the mall it will open in Chisinau on Wednesday, in partnership with Leogrant, one of the leading real estate companies in the Republic of Moldova. Sectors such as clothing & footwear, as well as food and accessories sectors will be well represented by Romanian manufacturing companies or by franchisees of international brands. In the fashion sector, local producers have found in MallDova - Anchor Grup's shopping centre in Chisinau, the opportunity to expand outside Romanian borders. Businesspeople such as Irina Schrotter, with stores under the same brand name, the Mihet family that manufactures clothing under the House of Art brand and Cosmin Copaescu, Bigotti manager, are just some of the manufacturers who have signed contracts to enter the first mall in Chisinau. Brands such as BSB, and Fox, the latter of which is held by Corssa on the Romanian market, and Lee Cooper, present on the local market via LCR Jeans, will be among the shopping centre's around 100 tenants.
