Adobe to launch technical support centre in Romania

17.06.2008, 21:13 8

Adobe Systems, the largest producer of design software worldwide, intends to open a technical support centre in Romania, and will launch pilot projects in four countries in the region this summer. "We don't have an exact date set for opening this centre, but it will most likely happen next year," Selami Guel, the company's country manager for South-Eastern Europe and Turkey. "In Romania, Adobe has invested a lot in software development and in engineers. Now, we want to invest in technical support, as well," added the company representative. The company could thus join other IT&C giants that have opened such centres on the local market, such as Oracle, HP, IBM and Microsoft. Adobe already has four support centres in Poland, The Czech Republic, Russia and Turkey, which will start operations in July-August of this year. "We have decided to outsource operations to partners, because it has been much easier to work with a company that already offers technical support services for other IT players. Opening a technical support office would have taken too long," specified Guel.
