3TS comes up with another 50-100m euros after exit from CMU

Private equity company 3TS Capital Partners, which managed theinvestment made by 3i fund in private medical services operatorCentrul Medical Unirea (Unirea Medical Centre), wants to raise a150 million-euro fund for investments in Central and EasternEurope.
"I think we will be investing between 50 and 100 million euros inRomania. We are considering investments in medical services,retail, financial services, the media, technology, and renewableenergy," said Daniel Lynch, managing director of 3TS CapitalPartners.
Over the next few weeks, 3TS will start to raise funds, with thoseinterested in investing in this fund including the European Bankfor Reconstruction and Development.
According to Mihai Sfintescu, representative of 3TS in Romania,says the typical investment from this fund will amount to 7 to 20million euros, and the average investment will be 12-14 millioneuros.
3TS has recently completed the latest transaction on the privatemedical services market, after selling its minority stake inprivate clinics operator Centrul Medical Unirea.
