3TS comes up with another 50-100m euros after exit from CMU
Private equity company 3TS Capital Partners, which managed the
investment made by 3i fund in private medical services operator
Centrul Medical Unirea (Unirea Medical Centre), wants to raise a
150 million-euro fund for investments in Central and Eastern
Europe.
"I think we will be investing between 50 and 100 million euros in
Romania. We are considering investments in medical services,
retail, financial services, the media, technology, and renewable
energy," said Daniel Lynch, managing director of 3TS Capital
Partners.
Over the next few weeks, 3TS will start to raise funds, with those
interested in investing in this fund including the European Bank
for Reconstruction and Development.
According to Mihai Sfintescu, representative of 3TS in Romania,
says the typical investment from this fund will amount to 7 to 20
million euros, and the average investment will be 12-14 million
euros.
3TS has recently completed the latest transaction on the private
medical services market, after selling its minority stake in
private clinics operator Centrul Medical Unirea.
