TCE Logistica, one of the main players on the domestic courier services market, registered turnover worth five million euros in the first half of this year, 25% higher against the same period last year. The increase was sustained by the upward trend of the logistics and courier services market and by the development of TCE's activities on the supply-chain-management and warehousing segments, according to the company's representatives. However, the company's results were below the average 35% growth rate projected for this year, with TCE Logistica having budgeted a turnover worth 11.5m euros. "We hope to recoup the difference in the second half of the year and hit our target, the more so as the last months are very busy," said Sorin Sofian, TCE Logistica manager. The courier service market is increasing as a result of the development of the economy, so that the trade growth helps courier companies' business grow. This year, TCE Logistica has also developed on the freight storage sector and now includes consumer goods producer Aston and Sport Depot among its customers. TCE Logistica works with Tornado Sistems on the supply-chain-management segment.
