The Romanian-German company Terra Invest will build a commercial Power Centre in Bucharest, on the former 3.5-hectare site of cosmetics producer Gerovital. It is estimated that the level of investment will be close to 10 million euros. "The Power Centre is a type of shopping centre that can have a surface of 10,000 to 20,000 square metres, in all towns with over 35,000 inhabitants," stated Klaus Reisenauer, general manager of Terra Invest. The complex will include a Kaufland hypermarket, which will be made up of one-storey retail halls that will have a surface area ranging from 100 to 3,000 square metres. The complex will cover a total of 14,000 square metres, and will have a car park that can accommodate 300 vehicles, according to a release of the real estate consultancy Eurisko, the project''s promoter. The hypermarket will cover 6,000 square metres and will be adjacent to a 3,000 square-metre home appliances store, an interior decoration store and a shopping gallery for clothing and footwear. ZF
