Construction company Concas Buzau posted turnover worth 14 million euros last year, an approximately 16% drop against 2004, according to company financial data Contacted by Ziarul Financiar, Ionel Gagu, the company's general manager, blamed this drop in turnover on the 10-14% personnel decline. "In 2005 (...) a big part of the skilled personnel left to work abroad, so that we found ourselves unable to fill all the orders," stated Gagu. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, Concas had almost 500 employees in 2004, which means that the company cut personnel by 60 people. Moreover, the company has budgeted a drop in revenue to 47 million RON (13 million euros). Over the last few years Concas Buzau has positioned itself as one of the most dynamic constructors of apartment buildings by undertaking projects of the ANL (National Housing Agency) over the last few years. Among the projects carried out by the company is the construction of the Gemenii Sitraco office buildings in Bucharest, developed by the Future Group. Currently, the Buzau-based company is building a multi-purpose hall in Craiova.
