Selgros: 30m euros for two stores

Selgros Cash& Carry will invest about 30 million euros this year to open two stores, one of them in Ploiesti. The two partners in this company, the German firms Rewe and Fegro Markt agreed to a capital increase of 30 million euros for Selgros, which will be used for investments this year. The total share capital of Selgros Cash & Carry Romania thus reaches 288.2 million RON (80 million euros) with the two partners owning equal shares in the firm. "We are definitely going to open two stores this year, one in Ploiesti on March 7 and the other one, whose location is yet to be established, sometime during the summer. Investments for the new Selgros store amount to 15 million euros", stated Antoaneta Gales, spokesperson for Selgros Cash& Carry Romania. Selgros currently operates 11 stores. Mediafax
