12.05.2008, 18:52 8

Rominserv, the general contractor of the Rompetrol group, forecasts turnover worth 158 million dollars (103 million euros) this year, up 34% compared with the 118 million dollars (84.8 million euros) derived in 2007. This is expected to be the first year of significant growth for the company's turnover in the last three years, considering that Rometrol's shares were acquired by the state-owned petroleum company KazMunaiGaz, a company that can deliver a significant number of contracts to Rominserv, given the extensive projects it is conducting. "We estimate turnover worth 158 million dollars by yearend, up 34% against 2007. Of this, 11.45 million dollars (7.4 million euros), i.e. 7.25% of the turnover will come from the sale of industrial valves, and around 147 million dollars (95.55 million euros), i.e. 92.75% from services and Expres mobile petrol stations," says Victor Popovici, general manager of Rominserv. The company provides industrial services for refineries, petrochemical plants, petrol stations, delivers turnkey projects, and infrastructure projects, as well as manufacturing industrial valves and casting parts in Zalau-based Rominserv Valves Iaifo.
