Rominserv, a general contractor component of the private oil group Rompetrol, concluded the first five months this year with turnover of $16 million and about $600,000 net profit. Rominserv has recently won a 700,000-euro contract for water supply works in Turcoaia (Tulcea County). The project, backed by European Union provided funds (through the SAPARD programme) is included in the rural infrastructure development and improvement programme in Romania. "After having made a name for itself in the industrial construction and maintenance business, Rominserv has made significant progress in the field of infrastructure works this year. This contract comes after two other projects related to the town of Navodari's water supply network, which we successfully finalised," stated Cosmin Cocean, Rominserv's general manager. ZF
