Romcab's profit equals 1% of turnover

Electrical wiring producer Romcab Targu-Mures, part of the Paneuro Group, logged 6.5 million euros in turnover for the first half, up 27%. Net profit rose to 63,000 euros, 63% more than in the first half of 2003. Romcab's main shareholder is Paneuro Company SRL, which owns 86.28%, while SIF Oltenia holds another 7.12%. Romcab is listed on the RASDAQ, and last traded for 15,500 ROL. Its market capitalisation thus stands at 2.1 million euros. The company makes wiring for three market segments - civil engineering, the automotive industry and household products. Civil engineering wiring accounts for 55% of Romcab's turnover. ZF
