Hakan Cakici has been appointed dry food manager of real, - Hypermarket Romania, where he will supervise departmental operations. With 10 years' retail experience, Hakan started his career at Metro Group in 1999 when he joined real, - Hypermarket Turkey, as a procurement specialist. He came in Romania in 2005 where he took over the beverages and tobacco department, as category manager. At the same time, Cristina Tabacariu was promoted to private label manager of real Romania. With a vast national and international experience that includes Metro Cash & Carry Romania and Austria, Tabacariu will be in charge of developing the company's private brands, which entails interdepartmental efforts within real Romania, and inter-company efforts within the Metro Group. In addition, she previously headed the food division of real, - Hypermarket Romania.
