Prefab Bucuresti, a manufacturer of construction materials, has posted revenues worth 20.4 million RON (5.6 million euros), down 15%, and slipped into the red with 2.63 million-RON (730,000-euro) losses, after posting gross earnings worth 530,212 RON in the same period last year. Prefab's expenditures were slightly down and reached 23.03 million RON, from 23.45 million RON in January-March 2007, according to the company's financial reports for the first quarter of 2008, and the corresponding period of 2007. The turnover of the construction materials manufacturer went up by almost 3% and reached 20.6 million RON. The company expects overall revenues worth 125.6 million RON this year, 7% higher than the 117.3 million-RON generated in 2007, and a gross profit increase, from 9.28 million RON to 11 million RON.
