Petromservice, the biggest domestic supplier of services and equipment for the petroleum and gas industry, has had a new organisational structure since the beginning of September, developed by the American consultancy company Accenture, one of the biggest consultancies in the world. "The decision to restructure was an obligation that derived from the extension of the contract with Petrom (that Petromservice works for). There is something we need to take into account, though. Petrom currently accounts for some 85-90% of Petromservice's business, but following the restructuring of the company, its share will drop in the next two years to 50%," stated Gheorghe Supeala, operating manager at Petromservice. At the beginning of this year, Petrom extended the contract for provision of services, sealed with Petromservice, to a seven-year period, with the minimum value of the contract standing at 1 billion euros.
