Dej-based Pehart Tec, a producer of tissue paper products (napkins, toilet paper and paper towels), has announced investment plans worth around 20 million euros over the coming two years, which will be spent on increasing production capacities. "Our intention is to produce 150 tonnes of tissue paper a year, which would mean an annual turnover worth around 48 million euros from this segment, more than double the value currently derived," Stelian Hotoiu, financial manager of Pehart Tec, told ZF Transilvania. This year, Pehart Tec will invest around 4.5 million euros in developing the finished products division. The company completed an investment worth around 8 million euros last year and doubled the production capacities of tissue paper. The company management forecasts an approximately 22.7 million-euro turnover for this year, up 60% compared with last year.
