Swedish investment fund Oresa Ventures is interested in acquiring a stake in the paint producer Guzu Chim, one of the top players on the specialised market, Daniel Guzu, chief executive and main stockholder of the company, told ZF. "We decided to bring in an investment fund to Guzu Chim in order to expand our business. We will sell a stake of about 40-45%", says Guzu. The value of the company is estimated at some 10-15 million euros. Talks between the investment fund and Guzu Chim began in December 2005, with Oresa Ventures signing an exclusive contract with the paint producer in order to enter into this deal, which expires on April 1. The investment fund had made no comment on the subject by the time the story was ready for print. Guzu Chim was set up in 1994, with Daniel Guzu holding 51% of shares, the rest being held by another three shareholders. The company currently has 350 employees, about 100 more than in 2004. ZF
