RHM Pants ready-to-wear factory based in Covasna County and held by a German businessman makes one million pants for Hugo Boss a year. "The RHM Pants ready-to-wear factory in Estelnic makes one million pants a year for Hugo Boss, the world's number one producer and retailer of pants for men. At the moment, 20% of the factory's output goes to Hugo Boss," owner Dietrich Bock said. Bock came to Romania in 1991 and has invested more than 19.5 million euros in three textile mills, all of which located in Covasna County: RHM Pants, Transilvanian Trousers Company and Ready Garment Technology. Two of the three plants, namely RHM Pants and Transilvania Trousers Company specialise in pants and their entire output is exported, while Ready Garment Technology finishes textile materials. RHM Pants and Transilvanian Trousers Company were initially established to work solely for Hugo Boss, but the number of clients has gone up in the meantime as to include Strellson, Escada, Toni Gard, Hiltl. Leithauser, all of which are German brands. "To work with Escada, a company specialising in women's pants, we invested one million euros in a brand new production line," the businessman said. ZF
