15.10.2007, 21:38 71

French-born Muriel Pouliquen became the new finance & control director for Nestle Romania in August, replacing Stephan Wirtz, who left the Romania company to join the Investors Relations team at Nestle's headquarters in Switzerland. Before joining Nestle six years ago, Muriel Pouliquen accumulated almost eight years of auditing experience in a Big Four company. Prior to coming to Romania, Pouliquen was regional finance manager at Nestle's Purina Pet Care division in Hungary. "In the four extraordinary years I've spent in Romania, I was impressed by how educated Romanians are, as well as by their dedication and diligence," said Stephan Wirtz. The former CFO has returned to his country of origin, after twelve years working outside Switzerland. Food producer Nestle has been present on the Romanian market since 1995, when it launched the Nescafe, Maggi and Nesquik brands onto the market. In 2002, Nestle acquired the wafers plant Joe in Timisoara.
