Nastase expects the IMF on June 6

29.05.2001, 00:00 8

The Government on June 6 will resume talks with IMF representatives, which are extremely important for the signals Romania sends out to the international markets, PM Adrian Nastase said.

The Cabinet chief specified the negotiations with the IMF delegation to come to Bucharest were also important because they would help check certain solutions "chosen" by the Government and already applied.

The PM added that the Cabinet was already in talks with World Bank representatives. The Government is trying to sign a new loan agreement with the IMF. Mediafax
