Sales of luxury cars in the first seven months of this year increased by almost 60%, double the overall growth rate of the imported car market. German luxury brands Mercedes and Audi doubled and even tripled their sales on the F segment (luxury cars) in the first seven months, even though prices of some models such as S Class or A8 start from 60,000 euros not including tax, or 80,000 euros with all taxes included. With almost 200 units sold, luxury sedans in the first seven months of this year accounted for less than 1% in the total volume of imported cars sold. Overall, sales of imported cars in the first seven months reached 71,000 units, up 30% compared with the similar period of last year.
