Loulis expects 13m euro sales in H1

13.06.2003, 00:00 5

Milling and bakery company Loulis Romania estimates to make approximately 13 million euro turnover for the first six months of the year, up 30% from the same time last year, general manager Stephanos Krommidas said. "It is hard to make comparisons, though, because we were working at a different capacity last year, and investments had not been finished yet," Krommidas said. Loulis has just dedicated its new mill in Cernica, so that the old Titan factory will be used for commercial purposes only, the general manager said. The mill in Cernica is 100,000 sqm wide and was built by Greek company C Balafas. "We can now say we have 95% completed the investment we set out to make," Krommidas said, adding the total investment scheduled was worth approximately 70 million euros. Loulis' investments in Romania amount to 55 million euros so far. ZF
