03.04.2007, 20:37 9

Inergy Automotive Systems, the Belgian-French producer of car fuelling systems, which holds a production centre in Pitesti, posted an 18 million-euro turnover last year, up 50% against the results seen in the previous year. "The main reason for the results was the increase in the production capacities and in the sales of our client Dacia Renault in both Romania and Russia, and Columbia and Morocco," stated Aurelian Crinta, general manager of Inergy Automotive Systems. For this year Crinta estimated a moderate 10% increase in the company's business. In terms of investments Inergy will carry out a more extensive programme than in the previous year. "In 2007, we will invest 2.2 million euros in building industrial facilities and in doubling the production capacities compared to those recorded at the end of 2006," Crinta revealed. Last year Inergy's investment programme required 1.5 million euros in funding, which went into the purchasing of the production facilities, which had been previously rented.
