Liviu Irimia steps down as Bergenbier marketing manager

09.07.2008, 17:45 15

Liviu Irimia has given up his position as marketing manager within InBev Romania, the producer of Bergenbier, a company with turnover worth 187 euros on the local market, just three months after the company's general manager, Mihai Ghyka, decided to leave the local branch of the Belgian producer. "I have a few personal projects I would like to pursue, but I also want to remain in the marketing sector, even if it means working with a major Romanian producer or with a multinational," said Liviu Irimia. He did not wish to disclose the reasons for leaving the marketing department of the third largest beer producer in Romania. Irimia, 39, took over as marketing manager of Bergenbier's producer in 2006, when Mihai Ghyka was promoted to general manager of InBev Romania. For the last two years, he has been directly involved in promoting Bergenbier, Stella Artois, Beck's, Noroc, Leffe and Hoegaarden.
