Alina and Eric Kish, CEO of Smartree Romania and vice-president for services and support functions of the Rompetrol group respectively, have decided to launch a human resources software product on April 27th on the American market, the market hardest hit by the financial crisis, a project in which they have so far invested 2.5 million euros. Erick Kish, who until recently was retail vice-president of the Rompetrol group, has been involved in HR services for ten years. Last year, the Smartree group, held by the Kish family, which consists of three companies, reached 10 million euros in turnover and a 32% operating profit rate. Smartree deals with outsourcing services for HR processes, such as remuneration and personnel management, Smartree Management Services deals with temporary jobs, and Smartree Technologies is the company that has put together the product to be launched in late April in the US, the MyStaff software. "The crisis makes it a great time to launch such a product in the US. Companies now want products that are very easy to implement, especially software on demand, i.e. accessible on the Internet," says Alina Kish, CEO of Smartree.
