Real estate consulting company Coldwell Banker is promoting a portfolio of exotic islands, which are up for sale, with prices ranging from 342,000 euros to 27 million euros. These islands can accommodate a two-bedroom house, with an investment starting from 100,000 euros. "On an undeveloped island, one can build a two-bedroom house and include all the necessary utilities, for an additional investment of 102,000 to 136,000 euros," said officials of the company. The most expensive properties available are in the Bora Bora area, with the Motu Tane Island costing 27 million euros, while the Blue Lagoon island in the Fiji archipelago costs 25 million euros. Consultants say the cheapest ones include Pearl Lagoon Island, in the South Pacific, available for 340,000 euros and Blue Hole Caye in the Caribbean (442,000 euros). According to Coldwell Banker, the company has brokered a transaction this year, in which a Romanian businessman purchased a 1,000 square-metre plot on St. Marteen Island, in the Caribbean area.
