12.12.2007, 20:16 7

Reghin-based Irum, which manufactures farming and forestry equipment, posted over 6.55 million-euro turnover in the first nine months of this year, up approximately 44% in RON against the same time last year. Under the circumstances, company officials estimate the company will close the year with overall sales worth around 8.9 million euros, up 26% against 2006. "The rise registered by our financial indicators in the first nine months of this year against the same time last year is largely due to the expansion of the range of projects available to our clients, as well as to new equipment being introduced in our manufacturing process. The market we operate on is under continuous growth, and is stimulated by the extensive demand for machines with low fuel consumption and with high productivity - products that our plant has manufactured for some time," Mircea Eugen Oltean, general manager of Irum, told ZF Transilvania.
