Indians looking for 300 people for outsourcing in Cluj

29.07.2008, 20:14 8

Indian financial research and analysis company Evalueserve, which provides one of the newest types of outsourcing- Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), a process that involves financial analyses or complex market surveys, has chosen Cluj as its base of European operations, where it will hire 300 people by 2012. Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) is defined as the intellectual cousin of the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and has become popular in the last four or five years due to the fact that major international investment banks or multinationals in other sectors need to reduce their market analysis and research costs. In recent years, Romania has become a target for companies that specialise in BPO or that conduct BPO like Genpact, HP and Wipro.
