27.09.2006, 18:44 71

Florian Halagian, a former football coach, sold, along with several members of his family, the Ester Auto Center business of Bucharest, which operates a car service centre, for 2.4 million euros, according to the data presented in the Official Gazette.
The former coach is going to receive 2.3 million euros for a 96.4 percent stake in Ester Auto Center from Radius Development, a company controlled by one of Eurisko founders and Cristina Lundin, marketing manager with Raiffeisen Evolution, the real estate unit of the Austrian group.
Halagian has not been involved with the top football league in Romania lately, starting his own business by opening a car service centre located in Piata Victoriei, in the centre of Bucharest.
"I have recently bought stock in a firm owning a car service. This was a private investment, driven by my passion for cars, as I am a graduate of the Road Vehicle Faculty of the University of Bucharest. The investment made together with other partners has nothing to do with Eurisko and the real estate business in which I have been involved for some time," Gabriel Marchievici, managing partner and one of Eurisko founders, commented for ZF.
Florian Halagian could not be contacted by the time of going to press for further comment on this issue.
Ester Auto Center, set up in July 2005, is a small family business whose other shareholders besides Florian Halagian, were his wife Constanta and her daughters Cornelia and Iuliana, as well Ungurean-Halagian Sorin Mircea.
According to the buy-sell contract for stock, Florian Halagian sold 58.9 percent of the shares to Radius Development company, for 1.55 million euros.
At the same time, the former coach also transferred another 37.4 percent of Ester Auto Center to Cristina Lundin for 750,000 euros.
Thus, Radius Development now owns 62.5% in Ester Auto Center, with the rest of stock belonging to Cristina Lundin.
Radius Development is a company held 60% by Dan Gabriel Marchievici, while the rest of stock belongs to Syrian Akili Omar.
In Bucharest, Raiffeisen Evolution real estate developer has carried out projects such as Grand hotel and office complex, home of the biggest five-star hotel of Romania, JW Marriott.
Austria's Raiffeisen Evolution has also developed smaller class A office buildings in Ploiesti and Bucharest, with French Lafarge group as one of the tenants. Raiffeisen Evolution last year sold Floreasca Tower office building, hosting Oracle Romania headquarters, for 20 million euros to UNITA insurance company, a member of Austria's WienerSt?dtische.
