Generalcom turnover climbs 62% in H1

Generalcom Bucuresti, a company that deals in rental of real estate space, posted a 62% turnover increase in the first half of the year, to 7.31 million RON (2 million euros), from 4.51 million RON in the first six months of last year. Profit climbed over 5.4 times, to 3.66 million RON, compared with the 672,696-RON income derived in January-June of 2007, according to company data. Generalcom's revenues climbed 45.1%, to 8.17 million RON, while the company's expenses went down by 20.2%, from 4.84 million RON to 3.86 million RON. According to the latest reports, the company's shareholders are Alain Louis Michel Emile Bonte, chairman of the company, with 43.21% of the shares, and Iberstate International Holding, registered in Luxembourg, with 39.65% of the capital.
