18.04.2007, 18:56 17

Businessman Dan Sucu, shareholder of the Mobexpert group, the leader on the local furniture market, is considering selling his shares on the Stock Exchange, after having acquired 40% of the group's shares from his former wife, Camelia Sucu. "The money has been paid. The transaction amounted to some 40 million euros, with the credit I took from Alpha Bank standing at 32 million euros. I am seriously considering the possibility of reselling a portion of the shares. I could sell around 25% of what I currently own on the Stock Exchange," stated Dan Sucu. A potential listing could take place in the spring of next year, but a capital increase is not considered in this case. "I have finalised this transaction, but it is difficult for one person to have such a high debt to the bank. I am among some of the people with the highest debts in Romania," stated Dan Sucu.
