Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries (DMHI) shipyard has recently received an order for three tankers, from a company based in Cyprus. The total value of the three ships amounts to $90m. The three-tanker contract, signed with LMZ Transoil early this month, determined the shipyard to give up part of its ship bodies production, which used to be contracted by the shipyards based in Tulcea and Constanta, according to DMHI officials. The contract signed with the Cypriot company stipulates the delivery of two tankers in June and December 2005 and an optional tank, which could be delivered in 2006. ZF
