15.05.2008, 19:50 9

TCE 3 Brazi, held by businessman Culita Tarata, which operates in the industrial and agricultural sectors, estimates a turnover worth 65.3 million euros this year from agricultural production, up 30% on last year, when it reported turnover worth around 50.3 million euros, amid an increase in the output of grain, whose prices will also remain high this year. "The grain and technical crops harvest will be at least 50% better than last year, when we had a disastrous harvest due to drought, and the prices, even if they see a decline, will still be high, therefore I forecast an up to 30% turnover increase, Culita Tarata, manager of TCE Trei Brazi, told ZF. Last year, the company reported an 80,000-euro profit, almost 15% higher than in 2006, when it derived 70,000-euro profit. A similar growth rate will bring the businessman an almost 100,000-euro profit. The company manages 62,000 hectares of farming land in Insula Mare a Brailei (an island on the Danube river), 12% more than the area under management in 2007.
