Carlsrom Beverages, which halfway through last year launched Granini natural juice, estimates tripling sales this year, to 10.5 million bottles. "We want to reach at least a 5% share of the market with Granini non-carbonated juice," stated Carlsrom Beverages representatives. The company sold 3.5 million bottles of Granini juice in approximately six months since the launch of the brand on the market. German group Eckes-Granini International, the producer of Granini natural juice, closed a partnership with Carlsrom Beverages last year that guaranteed Carlsrom exclusive distribution of the Granini brand in Romania. According to company information, a market study conducted in September last year showed that Granini's brand awareness stood at over 67%, and was tried at least once by over 40% of Romanian consumers. The company, a member of the URBB (United Romanian Breweries Bereprod) group, also distributes the carbonated Orangina juice on the market.
