16.01.2008, 18:14 10

Cargus, one of the leading players on the domestic courier market, will start an investment programme worth over 10 million euros this year, in order to sustain an annual 50% turnover growth rate. "We will invest around 2.5 million euros in new warehouses, 3 million euros in automatic mail sorting machines, and around 2 million euros in hand held devices (terminals used to send the recipient's signature to the sender)," said Augustin Plesea, manager and a company shareholder. The fleet will also be increased by 40%, which requires an investment worth 2 million euros. "This year will be a special year for Cargus, because we will take out the first credits in our history. So far, we have developed through our own resources. Out of the total investments, worth around 9.5 million euros, 60% will be covered via bank credits, while the rest will come from the company's own resources," added Plesea.
